Andrea M.: Jewish Designer Ralph Lauren

Fun facts about Ralph Lauren
 American Designer of Jewish decent.
At the age of 16 he changed his name due to being bullied and made fun of at school.
He didn’t attend fashion school, he actually went to Baruch College where he studied business but dropped out 2 yrs later. He later enlisted in the US Army.
You can always find pieces in his collection that will simply make you just “want to have them”.
This style as always been clean cut, well put together and just classy.
Here are a few of this children’s items that I simply <3

Laura M: My Top Six Make-Up Faves that I cannot live without...

If I were stranded on a desert island, the following products would be lathered on my face 24/7.  I have tried and used and swear by these "miracle workers". All of them can be found at Sephora, Nordstrom, and most Ulta stores nationwide.

#1-TOUCHE ÉCLAT - Radiant Touch, Yves Saint Laurent $40
...Two pumps to instant highlighting. I use it right below my eyebrows to create a subtle life effect.  Its so sheer and adds just the right light.

#2 - NARS Nail Polish in Orgasm, $18
It is on my fingernails right now!!!!! This shade is availiable in most of the Nars product line. I also have the Super Illuminator in Super Orgasm and add a dab to my Dior foundation.

#3 - Dior Rouge Lipcolor in Shade #475, Pink Caprice $32
A color that I have worn religiously since 2009. Its so on trend this season and looks stunning.  I make sure my lips are exfoliated and moisturized before I apply so the color shines. This is one of two shades I constantly wore while deployed the Afghanistan last year, the smell reminds me of powerful woman ready to play!

#4 - Dior Addict Lipstick, Shade #762, Paris $30
This beautiful, sheer pink is actually the replacement shade for #454 Dior Show, which was discontinued last year sadly.  Its a bit deeper that my previous fave but a STAPLE in my makeup bag. I ALWAYS have this one with me and I went thru 3 sticks during that same deployment to Afghanistan.  I used it so much that when a package arrived from Nordstrom or Beauty.com - the guys just hand delivered it to me wherever I was that day.

#5 - Too Faced Tinted Beauty Balm SPF 20, Beach Glow $32

This product is new in my arsenal but already a cant-live-without.  BB Creams are sweeping the United States after their popularity arose in Japan. They are a few step above a classic tinted moisturiser and an amazing product. It feels so light on my skin and gives great coverage. I use this on my 'off' days.

#6 - Benefit's They're Real! Lengthening Mascara $22

Just. Go. Buy. It.  TRUST ME.

There are so many products that I love and adore but these are just a few of the most important ones that I am sharing with you.  The next time you are at a Sephora or Nordstrom, ask for a sample. Take it home and try it, all of the products will work on most skin tones.

XOXO Laura
